The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Nameyourgame, trained by Sean Thomas Doyle, for failing to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Dunleer Crystal, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his foot slipped out of his stirrup iron turning in.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, C M Quirke rider of Tinto De Verano, trained by Yvonne Latta, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he wanted to get his mount settled early as it was having its first run over hurdles and also stated that his mount raced awkwardly in the home straight.

A. Leahy, rider of Cornaroya Rocco, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly from three furlongs out.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Accustomed, trained by E. D. Delany, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Anna McGuinness, rider of Noble Talent, trained by T.J. Nagle Jr., reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rocky's Howya, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Walks The Talk, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Patrick Magee, trainer of, Butty O Brien for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i)

Niall Moore, rider of Finnians Row, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Warm In Gorey, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped badly right throughout.

For this meeting, the Raceday Stewards suspended the 'Starting procedures for Tape Starts' and the IHRB suspended Rule 208(i) & 209(i).

Following Race 3 the IHRB Clerk Of The Course changed the going to Yielding on the hurdle course.
